A charming lamped Japanese Imari early 18th century vase of medium proportions. The main body of the vase is decorated in iron red and cobalt blue and highlighted with gilding. Each top panel is painted alternately with different flowers all against a white ground. The main body is decorated with plants and flowers emerging from rocks. The vase has been mounted on a hand-carved water gilt wooden base and fitted with an antiqued brass plate and light finial.
