A large Chinese blue and white Jar from the Kangxi (1662-1722) period in country house conditions. The baluster body rising from a recessed base to a short straight neck, decorated in blue and white with six panels depicting a blossoming prunus, lotus flowers and a mountainous landscape. Unglazed base. A big piece has been off and restuck, a little chip on the top rim has been restored.
