Two large Japanese figures of shishi, both with their mouths open showing tongue and teeth, their body decorated with large green red and brown dots. The Shishi is Japanese variant of the Chinese foh dog ; It has a curly mane, a fierce expression, a bushy tail and large eyes; It offers protection from evil. A good quality and sizeable Japanese Imari Bijin figure dating circa 1690. The rare decoration features thistles embellishing her kimono. Several similar examples at Drottningholm Palace, Stockholm, Sweden.

An historically significant pair of French, Nevers, faience handles from a large tree pot. Each mask is surmounted by a laurel hail and by two intertwined dolphin tails forming an arch. These have been saved from a damaged " pot-a-oranger" dating circa 1650‍.
