A Palatial Pair of Japanese Imari Vases, circa 1700

A very impressive pair of large early 18th century Japanese Imari Vases in perfect condition and featuring an elaborate depiction of court life with ladies and attendants, curtains, drapes and flowers. The shoulder with shaped panels containing flowers compositions.The lid decorated with matching patterns and surmounted by large shi shi lion finials.
