This very tall and impressive octagonal shaped Imari vase depicts two unfolded screens with a landscape and architecture decoration and on top of it a rich pelmet-like fabric ending in a beautiful drapery on each side of the screen. The vase is in very good conditions, has been restored inly on the inside to secure some hairline cracks that dont go through the body. An identical example is shown in Wilhemsthal House, Germany, inv. nr. 4.1926.
